Good Friday Prayer Experience: Journey to the Cross

Join us on Good Friday, March 29, 2024 for an interactive prayer experience called Journey to the Cross.

Come anytime between 4-7 pm to experience a moment of reflection, remembrance, and renewal.

Journey to the Cross

Join us for Journey to the Cross, a self-guided walk through the events leading up to the crucifixion, death and burial of Jesus Christ.

This interactive journey will take you through a sequence of stations representing a portion of the Passion of Jesus Christ. You will see, hear, feel, taste and smell aspects of this powerful story through light, art, video, sound, and other aesthetic elements.

This is a time to slow down, leaving the chaos of life at the entrance, and to focus on Jesus

Take your time as you go through the stations. There is no need to rush.

Read the words slowly. Let them sink in.

If you are drawn to stay in a particular spot for a long time, you’re free to stay. Move to the next station whenever you are ready.

Don’t feel pressured to move on if others leave a station before you do.

At many of the stations, there will be an interactive element. You are free to engage with them as instructed or not. You may just want to engage in some and not others. That’s okay.

This Journey to the Cross is not about an agenda or meeting anyone’s expectations. It’s simply a time and a place for you to draw close to Jesus.

If you've ever wondered, "What is Easter all about?" it all starts with Good Friday and the Journey to the Cross. Sign up now to reserve your time.
