Men Made to Serve

James 1:27 – Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

1 Peter 4:10-11 – God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

Men’s Ministry Purpose

We desire to know and understand our Biblical definition of manhood and to live it out at home, at work, at church and in our community. We accomplish this through regular events, redemptive-accountable relationships, and ongoing growth studies where we look to Biblical principles to live out our identity as men.

As Robert Lewis has defined it, a real man is someone who:

– rejects passivity
– accepts responsibility
– leads courageously
– expects God’s greater reward.

Our men keep this in mind with every event and relationship we do under the oversight of Grace Church’s vision to mature all believers in their walk with God, minister to believers and unbelievers alike, and multiply our relationships with Christ with other faithful people.

Winning At Work and Home is a 16-week study that focuses on the two areas that are central to a man’s life: career and family. This journey builds the walls of manhood by dealing with such topics as understanding women, marriage, sex, dating, conflict, money, parenting and the world of work.

The curriculum also includes a host of practical applications. We hope to see you there!
