Children's Ministries
Let Your Children Come....
The purpose of Children's Ministry at Grace Church is to partner with the parents to help children to grow spiritually by:
Knowing Christ...Showing and teaching God's love to the kids - Praying for and encouraging kids to respond to Jesus Christ - Helping kids and their families to become members of God's family and our church family.
Growing In Christ...Providing creative age-appropriate activities that encourage spiritual growth - Helping each child's relationship with Jesus Christ to grow - Teaching God's Word, the Bible.
Serving Christ...Providing relevant, biblical teaching - Providing relative role models - Providing age-appropriate service opportunities where we can bless others through loving service.
Sharing Christ...Helping equip and encourage kids to share their love for others and for Christ - Encouraging kids to share what God is teaching them, and to share their faith in Jesus Christ with friends and family.

Our Children's Ministry at Grace includes Sunday School classes and Vacation Bible School. AWANA Clubs are also available.
Saturday Evening. We offer children's lessons immediately following the praise portion of the 6 PM Saturday evening services, using Gospel Light curriculum.
Sunday School Classes. In our Sunday School classes, we aim to expose each child to a full picture of God's love and His Word, the Bible. After a child moves into the upper division - grades 4 and 5 - it is our intent to help insure that they: Have gained basic inductive Bible study skills - Are able to identify and use study helps - Are able to recognize basic themes in different sections of Scripture - Are able to apply God's truth in the Bible to everyday life. In all classes, we desire our children to grow to be disciple makers.
A nursery, as well as Sunday School classes, are provided for all kids during the 9 AM service. During the 10:30 AM service, we provide a nursery as well as Sunday School classes for pre-school children. We also provide Children's Church for children in the 1st through 5th grades, except for the first Sunday of each month when we encourage families to worship together during the 10:30 service.
Sunday School classes are available in the following age/grade categories:
2- & 3-year olds
4- & 5-year olds
Kindergarten and 1st grade
2nd grade
3rd grade
4th grade
5th grade
We use Bible-based curriculum at all levels. The class sessions are dynamic and include praise and worship, Bible stories, activities and crafts, Scripture memorization. Loving, caring and trained teachers who are committed Christians, and who desire to share the love of Jesus with children, lead each class. We also plan special events throughout the year.
Annual Vacation Bible School. June 16-20, 2008!
AWANA Clubs. The Grace Church AWANA Clubs for pre-school to 6th grade meet at Grace on Thursdays from 6:15 PM to 8:15 PM. For more information, please contact Steve Babicz at 299-5938.
